China agency wins Brand Identity top award
Lee Gluckman, chairman of Mobius Awards, has returned from a whirlwind trip to Shenzhen, China, where he presented a Best of Show award to Dans Digital, Shenzhen/China Shenzhen International CEEC Co., Ltd. “The event was a huge success,” Gluckman said. “It was all so gracious.”
Some eight government officials were in the audience.
The agency won Best in Brand Identity for the $2 million immersive outer space experience design created for visitors to the 10-story China International Consumer Electronics Exchange Exhibition Center. Dans Digital is a comprehensive visual effects company, which integrates technologies such as three-dimensional animation, live-action shooting, and visual effect.
For the CEEC project, Dans Digital built two elevators twice as large as normal. The elevators’ five walls were glass panels that displayed a laser projection matrix video with realistic sounds, creating the impression that the passengers are traveling on a spaceship through space.
